In a world filled with challenges and opportunities, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others thrive. My friends and family often ask me, “Why don’t you do this for yourself?”

The answer lies in my passion for tackling obstacles head-on and crafting solutions that genuinely uplift others.

So that’s why I set up this business. I get to do what I love. I get to drive the direction and trajectory of the business. We also get to deliver impact individually and as a team.

Why? Well I wasn’t privileged. I am from a very working class background, my dad was a lift engineer, my mum worked in a shop and my grandad was a road sweeper, like a real one, with a broom. So hard work is in my blood and I understand the value of money. So I don’t want to rip people off. I want to work hard for people. I like to see things come through that deliver something better.

My journey was unconventional. Initially, I considered opening a record shop, driven by my love for DJing and promoting music events. However, on the final day, I applied to a local university and, with that decision, set off on a path that would shape my career.

I really didn’t know what I wanted to do. I did a PR job when I left university as I needed a job as I had a baby on the way. Their main client was the Church of England, which just wasn’t for me. But life has a way of guiding us. I received two job offers: one from Jongleurs, with a tempting salary, and another from a burgeoning company that would soon become Reuters. I chose the latter, marking a pivotal moment that shifted my focus from music to business.

That role taught me invaluable lessons about the industry and helped me shed the imposter syndrome that had held me back. I climbed the ladder, eventually taking on leadership roles, including CMO, Non-Executive Director and Chairman. Through these experiences, I discovered what truly fuels my passion: witnessing innovative ideas come to life through the hard work of talented individuals and teams.
